Part II: Use the Carrick Teacher Guide PDF file to discuss the completed map with students. The map in the Guide is just one possibility, because some of the locations can be in multiple locations. Students can compare and contrast their competed map with the one in the Guide. The Guide also has answers for the vocabulary and questions. The answers are meant to be a starting point for discussion and review of key vocabulary and concepts.

Part III: Services Activity for Carrick: The students will determine if the number given for a specific service is actually going to be higher or lower in number. For example, the student handout may say there are 5 Holiday Inns, and the students have to determine if a city the size of Carrick will have more than 5 (Higher) Holiday Inns or less than 5 (Lower) Holiday Inns.
